Phage Biocontrol, LLC leads the research and development of phage as a natural biocide to mitigate industrial problems of corrosion and fouling.

In concert with Texas A&M University as a research partner and an industry partner in INTEC Engineering, it will apply previously unrelated research to develop an effective, non chemical-based, environmentally friendly solution to problems in microbe induced corrosion (MIC).

Such a new application may find utility in any system in which microbes are causing problems; however, Phage Biocontrol will initially focus on microbial induced problems in oil and gas exploration, production, refining and fuel storage.
